Our Commitment

CWP Media Group Texas is committed to making the CWP Game Day Command Center accessible to the widest possible audience, including coaches, staff, and parents with disabilities, and to services that support public school athletic programs.

Conformance Target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard commonly applied to government and government-adjacent services. This is a statement of ongoing commitment and effort, not a certification of full, audited compliance.

Measures We've Taken

  • Status indicators (heat monitor, safety score, decision status, wind, etc.) always pair color with a text label or word — information is never conveyed by color alone.
  • Semantic HTML structure, labeled form fields, and keyboard-operable controls throughout the dashboard and subscription forms.
  • Responsive layout that adapts to zoom and a range of screen sizes.
  • Plain-language alert text and recommendations rather than jargon or codes alone.

Known Limitations

Some embedded third-party content — the live NWS radar map — is provided by an external National Weather Service iframe outside our direct control, and may not fully meet the same accessibility standard. We continue to review and improve accessibility as the Service evolves.

Feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier using this Service, please let us know at admin@cwpweatheralerts.com so we can address it. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will work to provide the information you need through an alternative method if needed.
